Season Five Rules and Changes

There are some new rules and changes that are being implemented this Season. Just to clear up any confusion here are the following changes:

1. League has been reduced down to 16 teams. The Conferences and Divisions have been re-named and re-organized in an effort to stimulate competition and creativity.
2. The Season has been shortened to 9 matches. The 2nd Water and Desert matches have been eliminated, as well as the Pre-Season match. All weekly points have been reduced as well.
3. A total of 8 teams will make the Playoffs. 4 from each Conference. Each Division winner will automatically make the Playoffs. The remaining 4 spots will be determined by record. There will be 2 rounds to the Playoffs in addition to the Universe Bowl.
4. Rosters will be extended to 300 characters. Practice Squads have been eliminated. There is no limit to your Vehicle stockpile.
5. Rosters will be uploaded to Google Docs. The link will be provided so that you can access them with ease. They will be updated weekly with deaths and any attributes characters acquire. But to your own benefit, try and keep track of these things on your own.
6.FORFEITS WILL BE HEAVILY ENFORCED!!! Any owner that does not turn in a team will forfeit that week's match, with an additional penalty of every character from that team with under 8 deaths being dealt a death. (I know this is severe, but the Watchers work way too hard for people not to care about this.)
7. There will be a $5 Buy-In this year to join. The winner of Universe Bowl V with receive $50, with the runner-up receiving $30.
8. At this year's draft, you will draft your Off-List Single pick, your Off-List Group pick, a character off of the Auxiliary Character List, a Weapon, a Vehicle, and either a Black Lantern, a Vampire or a Zombie from the characters on the FFL Graveyard all in ONE PICK. There are only 8 Black Lanterns, 6 Vampires and 2 Zombies available.

*This is not a rule, but please try and comment on the matches. The Watchers work really hard on them, and it would be nice to know that they get read.
