s6w7: Murderflies vs DopeFiends

Teddy Roosevelt arrives in Downtown Detroit. The city is bustling as they prepare for the Fourth of July.

"Bully! This is what we like to see! The spirit of America is alive and well!" he thinks to himself as he waits for the rest of his team to arrive. He stumbles across an older gentleman.

"Tally ho friend!" exclaims Teddy Roosevelt "Which fireworks bring you here this fine day, the ones in the sky or the  ones that shall be displayed in battle?"

"Buh-buh-battle?" mumbles the man

"Yes, me and my compatriots on the Murderflies shall be bringing forth a bit of destruction to those vandals that call themselves the Dope Fiends. It shall be quite the knuckleduster!"

"The Muderflies...yes....YES!!" the man begins to babble excitedly "The called me a fool! Said it was too late! But I told them!! I told them all!!! Yes! The Murderflies did show!!! I knew it! Where's my Trident??!! MURDERFLIES!!!!" The old man charges off. As he does, a yellow, tattered piece of newprint fall to the gorund. Teddy Roosevelt picks up the paper and calls after the man

"You there! Old timer! You've dropped your..." then Roosevelt notices the headline

MURDERFLIES FEARED MURDERED!! DOPEFIENDS DECLARED  VICTORIOUS BY DEFAULT!!

"Preposterous! What manner of deviltry is this?" stammers the Rough Rider, then he notices the date of the paper July 5, 1928.

"Balderdash! This can't be!! It's says right here on my schedule this battle is to be held..." then Roosevelt sees that the match was indeed scheduled to be held in 1928, rather than 1982.

"Stuff and nonsense" he mumbles as he returns to the Murderflies HQ to inform the rest of his team what's transpired.
