Team Fred Vs. Team

Team Fred is Cyclops (designated leader), Jean Grey, Ice Man, Beast, & Angel, Phoenix, Mimic, Vision, Super Skrull, Master Mold, Ultron, Absorbing Man, Brainiac, Kilowag, Mothra, & Compsognathous #29-40.





Team is Superman (designated leader), The God Emperor Leto II, Original Titan #1 & 2, Evil Paul Atreides Ghola, Neo, Seraph, Luke Skywalker, R2-D2, C-3PO, The Combaticons, Blitzwing, Swoop, Wile E. Coyote, Gannon, John Wayne, Griffin Poteracki, & Fred Baker.





The battle of the extremely clever team names begins with Leto II moving at speeds much faster than the average sandworm underneath the sand toward Team Fred. The God Emperor leaps out of the sand and snatches Angel out of the air, completely consuming him. As he comes crashing down onto Beast, Brainiac; along with Jean Grey and her daughter Rachel Summers try to tap into the mind of the God Emperor in order to destroy this powerful creature from the inside out. The evil Paul ghola witnesses this huge monster, that is actually the son of the original Paul Atreides coming out of the sand. The evil Paul is buried under some sand that would normally not stop anybody but this triggers his genetic memory of his days on Arrakis as the son of Duke Leto. Once these memories are triggered, he along with Jean Grey, Phoenix, and Brainiac all see into the minds of The thousand year old tyrant Leto II and are forced to attempt to go mentally where only a Kwisatz Haderach can go. All 3 of Leto II's opponents, as well as his teammate are killed by trying to attempt this superhuman feat. After seeing all of these characters doubled over in pain and mental anguish Mimic decides that stealing mental powers would probably be a bad idea today. So instead he goes with the powers of Cyclops, Ice Man, Super Skrull, Absorbing Man, and of course Superman. He takes to the air to fight with Superman far above the desert landscape. John Wayne leads Wile E. Coyote, Griffin, & Fred against the 10 Compy's. Griffin jumps into action and starts killing Compys with his bear hands, do to his insistance that "weapons are for wimps", He throws caution to the wind as they nibble on his arms while he is twisting their necks. Griffin kills 5 of the compys but he then dies from the poison inflicted by the compy's venomous bites. Wile E. Coyote spends this time devising a rocket which he blasts at Compy #38 & 39 to kill them. John Wayne kills Compy #29 & 33 with his Coach double barrel 12 gauge and then drops the empty gun to shoot Compy #40 with his six gun. The 2 remaining compy start to lunge at Wayne but Fred tackles him out of the way to save him. Fred then pulls out the derringer that John Wayne gave him at the beginning of the fight and shoots the last 2 compys. Blitzwing, Swoop, & The Combaticons, who just merged to form Bruticus, team up to fight Mothra. Mothra creates a gale with a flap of his wings which causes Swoop to lose control. Mothra then shoots Swoop with a beam of energy from his antennae and destroys him. It seems as though Mothra is now outnumbered 2 to 1 but Kilowag flies in to lend a hand to his monster-insect teammate. Bruticus breaks through the gale force winds to punch Mothra in the stomach but Kilowag concentrates all of his will and hits Bruticus with a giant fist of green energy that completely blows the gestalt to pieces. Blitzwing in his jet form starts flying toward Kilowag, who is preparing for an attack from the triple changer when Blitzwing's cockpit opens up in mid-air and Luke Skywalker jumps onto the wing. Luke then takes Kilowag by suprise as he jumps off of the Decepticon toward Kilowag and slices the green lantern with his green lightsaber. Luke has no worries as he is free-falling toward the ground as Blitzwing gets underneath him to catch Luke in his cockpit just like they had planned. Blitzwing then lands as he transforms into a tank and blasts Mothra with a powerful and perfectly placed shot to the mid-section of the huge moth. Mothra dies, but in his death he shoots off his scales which emit poisonous powder onto the field; both covering and killing Wile E. Coyote & Gannon. Cyclops starts optic blasting God Emperor Leto II but the blasts have little effect on the worm as he rolls right over Team Fred's designated leader. Ice Man completely coats Leto II with ice which seems to have no effect on him until the Tyrant crashes back into the sand and the ice begins to melt around him and kill his sandworm body. This attack kills the emperor of 1000 worlds but Ice Man dies as well as the water is turned into the poisonous water of life which sprays onto Ice Man and kills him. Vision moves against The Miles Teg Ghola, making for a very irritating fight between a person who moves to fast to be hit and an android that cannot be hit at all. Vision manages to land a few hits with his hard as diamond fist but it is not enough to put the Bashar away. Vision then tries to do his patented "put the intangible fist into the stomach and then turn the hand back, and pull out something important move" but when he tries to do this to Miles Teg, the body of the reincarnated Bene Gesserit Bashar is vibrating at such a rapid rate that it completely disrupts the circuitry of Vision and the two of them join each other in death. Master Mold lands in between the 2 Original Titans and begins blasting them with his built in lazer cannons, but the 2 titans whose brains are protected inside 2 humongous tank like forms for the dessert are virtually unharmed by the lazers which they view as useless and outdated weaponry. The artillery of the 2 titans easily blows apart the huge sentinal. Absorbing Man uses his powers to take on the best of both the sand and the rock surrounding him. He is attacked by Seraph who is by far the faster of the 2 as he lands quite a few hits on the villain but all it takes is one well placed hit to the head with Absorbing Man's rock hard arm to kill Seraph. Ultron blows away R2-D2 with one shot and he doesn't even give C-3PO enough time to say something that isn't funny as he grabs him by the head and crushes his droid skull. Neo jumps in to take on Kl'rt: The Super Skrull. Kl'rt has many great abilities but he cannot match Neo's speed. Neo lands several hits on the ultimate war skrull and then proves very invulnrable to his fire and orange rock attacks. Kl'rt wraps his stretchy arm around Neo and restrains him but Neo throws Super Skrull off of him as he flies into the air and then flies back at him to punch right through the invisible force field he had put up to protect himself, allowing his fist to go right into Kl'rt's super skull. Mimic has done an amazing job of holding off Superman in hopes of giving them an oppurtunity to defeat the rest of Team but it may not have been good enough. Mimic has given up on trying brute force against Superman so he tries to go another route. He shoots his Super Skrull/Human Torch flames at Supes from his left arm while he is simultaneousely shooting Ice Man's ice from his right arm and a combination of Cyclops and Superman's eye beams from his eyes. Superman still is twice as fast as Mimic though as he dodges out of the way of this amazing attack and comes up underneath the mutant with a powerful uppercut to the chin which snaps back his neck and kills him. Ultron and Absorbing Man are leaderless and alone as they regroup in the center of the sandy battlefield and are surrounded. The 2 Titans roll up next to Blitzwing who is still in tank form and with a few blasts soften up the 2 remaining members of Team Fred as Superman, who is being cheered on by John Wayne and Fred finishes off Absorbing Man, while Luke lends cover with his lightsaber to Neo as the 2 of them run up and go "chosen one" all over Ultron.
