Hermes races across the clouds, both White Lantern Sinestro
and Black Bolt flying away, but still in his sights. As he is about to reach his targets, he is
struck by an intense blast which catapults him through the sky. Hermes attempts to gain his wits and notices
Oneg the Prober. WL Sinestro and Black
Bolt are now gone so Hermes focuses his attention upon the Celestial tasked
with experimentation. Although a strong
battle rages, Oneg gains the upper hand on the Greek god, as its brethren had
done so many times in the past with the Asgardian gods. Hermes is ripped apart. No expression can be seen beneath the armored
behemoth’s mask.
A loud pop is heard and Mr. Mxyztplk is seen floating next
to the space god. Being that his powers
are recognized as akin to those of the cosmic entity, Mxyztplk manipulates
reality around Oneg. This diminished
reality creates a fissure of weakness in the armor of Oneg. An intense shriek is heard as the Phoenix
Force Entity bursts through the Celestial. The
armor surrounding the Prober is ripped apart and Oneg is lost to the
Horsemen.
Mr. Mxyztplk giggles.
A pop is again heard as he disappears.

The Prober was too open and obvious. . . had to pass. . . this time.
