Horatio Caine removes his sunglasses and looks to the
waters from the beach. He notices a dark
object floating on the surface, thinking it is a log from the nearby forested
lands. Caine removes his sunglasses and
using his Mandalorian armor, flies above the piece. The CSI looks down, analyzes the item and
picks it up. Caine carries the object to
the shore and gently lays it down.
Dr. Teresa Oblak stands over the corpse of her dog,
Dexter. The aura of her Tron light suit
masks the tears that slowly trickle down her face. Brandon Inge puts an arm around his
teammate.
Dr. Oblak: Oh, my
poor Dexter. . .
Horatio Caine removes the armor’s helmet: Looks like that log was really (places
sunglasses on his face again). . . your dog.
Dr. Oblak: What kind of monster does this to an animal?
As if in response to her inquiry, a guttural howl is
emitted from the waters as Godzilla rises.
Brandon Inge uses his green lantern ring to encase himself, along with
Caine and Oblak. Godzilla’s foot skids
off of the green dome. Suddenly Megalon
shoots from the water and knocks an already unbalanced Godzilla down. The giant lizard falls, barely missing a
crushing blow to his teammates. Godzilla
lifts himself up and the two behemoths begin a pitched battle.
Caine, Oblak and Inge watch the fight.
Caine: Godzilla must
have chewed Dexter up and spit him out.
Oblak: That doesn’t
make sense, Godzilla would have swallowed him whole. Dexter would not have gone in the waters
without me.
A deadened Black Lantern Ryan Poteracki swoops in and
laughs.
BL Poteracki: Sorry
sis, it wasn’t Godzilla. . . I lured
your dog. . . just had a hankering for some Korean. . .
Oblak: You sick
bastard!
Oblak throws her light disc, but Poteracki easily blocks it
with his ring’s powers.
Meanwhile, He-Man’s glistening body runs up the beach with
Star Sapphire #2 flying behind.
BL Poteracki: Looks
like a party! Glad I’ve been working
out!
BL Poteracki rips off his suit and is left with only a
blackened, well-placed, throng bikini bottom.
BL Poteracki: Now I fit in!
He-Man runs, in what appears to the naked eye, slow motion
and jumps toward the trio. The
barely-clad warrior uses his sword to lop off the hand of Brandon Inge before
the Tigers’ utility man can react. The
green lantern ring falls to the ground with his hand. Defenseless, He-Man delivers an upper swipe
of his sword and Inge loses his life at the hands of the Eternian
protector.
While Poteracki is mistakenly admiring his teammate He-Man,
Oblak runs at the black lantern and takes both lightsabers, lopping off the
head and legs of BL Poteracki.
Caine attempts to defend himself against the crushing blows
of He-Man’s Power Sword with a shield and Taskmaster’s sword. Nonetheless, the Miami red head can only hold the brute back
for so long and he is eventually skewered.
Oblak uses both lightsabers against Star Sapphire #2, but falls just
short and is killed.
Godzilla battles the Seatopian
beast. Megalon utilizes all of its weaponry by shooting
lightning bolts from his horn and spitting napalm bombs from his mouth. Godzilla falls to his knees and it looks like
the Tokyo
destroyer will succumb to Megalon. In a
last feat of strength though, Godzilla manages to rip off the drill hands of
Megalon. Wheeling at the damage caused by Godzilla,
Megalon falls into Godzilla’s arms where the lizard cracks the neck of
Megalon. Megalon crashes into the ocean,
causing a near tidal wave which sprays both He-Man and Star Sapphire #2.
Godzilla ignores
the two remaining Midgets and shrieks.
His clarion call falls on deaf ears as his teammates are gone and both
He-Man and Star Sapphire #2 are flown away by the ring bearer.
