I am going to list, who lost what characters in the expansion draft, what characters the new teams acquired, and the draft order and rules for Feb. 13th. It will all be put on the blog, but it will take place while the optional tournament is finishing up, so you may have to do a little searching for the exact post that you are looking for. For that I apologize, but it is a busy time of year for The FFL and it cannot be avoided.

Murderflies (Team 1) Vs. Commandos (Team 2) (there full names won't fit in the title box)

Pop-Superstar Hannah Montana & President Barack Obama’s Best of Both Worlds” Touring Battalion of Commandos is Harry Potter, Jedi Master #23 & 24, Sardakaur #13 & 14, Gungan #3 & 4, & Mrs. Doubtfire.
Brock Sampson’s Fighting Murderflies is Hellboy, Marine #4-8, & Ewok #6-8.
　
Harry Potter’s squad begins in the lower level kitchen. Harry carefully puts together a plan in which a Jedi and a gungan each cover one of the doors heading into the back room, Sardakaur #13 & Mrs. Doubtfire (armed with limes from the bar) cover the stairway exit to the outside and the back upper floor exit and Harry, along with Sardakaur #14 are located just to the right of the bar, in front of the Christmas tree so they can see all possible attack routes and so Harry can still direct his team during the battle. Hellboy is already leading his team down the stairs from their start point when Marine #5 asks “what’s the plan Captain”? Hellboy answers “follow me”. Harry speaks to his team and says that they will wait where they are at for their opponents to attack first: “they have to come in one of the doors we have guarded” says Harry to his team of much older followers. “And when they do we’ll be rea“…… But the young wizard’s sentence is cut off as Hellboy comes crashing thru the wall and on to the stage, knocking over Santa’s chair. Before they even realize what is going on, JedI Master #23 & Gungan #4 are gunned down by Hellboy and the Samaritan. Sardakaur #14 instantly jumps into action and takes out both Marines #5 & 8, as well as Ewok #6 with his lasgun as they first follow their team captain Hellboy thru his makeshift doorway. Marine #7 takes out Gungan #3, but not before the gungan takes out Ewok #7. Sardakaur #14 & Mrs. Doubtfire run back down the stairs to join the battle that is going on without them, and the Imperial terror troop takes out Marine #6 immediately as he runs thru the doorway. Mrs. Doubtfire rocks Ewok #8 in the head with a lime, but if anything it just knocks some sense into the little genius, as he turns and throws his spear with an Olympic-like javelin toss right into the neck of Mrs. Doubtfire. The absolutely hilarious cross-dresser does manage to belt out one last anecdote as he/she says “run by fruity…… stopped with……. Old woman on a stick” before he dies (both teams ignite in uproarious laughter). Harry casts a spell that blasts Marine #8 into oblivion, and then fries Ewok #8 as if it were an after thought, but Hellboy dodges the attacks of the remaining Commandos and goes in for the kill with Harry. He knocks the little brit hard in the chest and then rockets him up over the bar. Before Harry even lands Hellboy is over top of him deciding whether to blast him with the Samaritan or bring his huge fist into Harry’s dome, Jedi Master #24 force leaps onto the bar and removes Hellboy’s head with his light saber. The Jedi looks down at his frightened team captain below him and says “Merry Christmas”

The Horsemen of Apokolips Vs. The Em-Effers

The Horsemen of Apokolips are Elrond, Dementor #17, Dark Jedi Master #1, Amazon #11, Droideka #9, & Astro-Droid #11 & 12.
The Em-Effers are Rabban Harkonen, Amazon #26 & 30, Uruk Hai #31 & 32, Battle Droid #19 & 21, & Ski Bum.
　
Elrond leads his team out of the upper floor members only bar after a couple of cups of Christmas cheer and decides that he is going to camp out next to the double door entrance to the upper level rentable hall, which like most years is empty. He believes that his team will be better off if they maintain the high ground and try to attack their opponents as they come up the stairway. “What was that” Amazon #11 asks of her team as she hears a faint beep. Just then the elevator doors open and Rabban and his team (several of whom, including himself were at one point Horsemen and are eager for some pay back after being dropped from the Championship team). In all the excitement Astro-Droid #12 falls down the stairs and is destroyed by the fall, but the rest of Elrond’s strike force jumps into action. Rabban’s team takes cover behind the wall next to the elevator but The Horsemen go on the offensive. Dementor #17 flies in and consumes Amazon #26, while Amazon #11 proves to Amazon #30 why she was selected to stay on the team by demonstrating her superior fighting skills and defeating her fellow Amazon in one on one combat. Droideka #9 rolls into action and instantly makes short work of the 2 Battle Droids and Uruk Hai #31. Ski Bum follows the direct order from the Beast Rabban and jumps down the stairs to finish off the fallen Astro-Droid, while Rabban pulls out his dagger and charges The Horsemen. Rabban is an extremely fierce fighter but he looks clumsy as Elrond dodges his advances and then runs him thru with his Elven Sword while Dark Jedi Master #1 is force choking Uruk Hai #32 to death. Ski Bum is no coward, but he knows when he is beat and as the last surviving member attempts to run away, but The Dark Jedi Master force pushes him into the wall above the couch and holds him there while the Droideka blasts him to pieces.

The Syracuse Valley (Team 1) Vs. TEAM (Team 2)

The Syracuse Valley is Knuckles, Xenomorph #91 & 92, Giant Hammer Bros. #1 & 2, Moritani Soldier #1 & 2, & Little Goomba #4.
TEAM is Duke Leto Atreides, Futar #3 & 4, Valkyrie #8 & 9, Tlielaxlu Master #3 & 4, & Crippled Pete Sosa.
The Syracuse Valley begins from the up stairs women’s bathroom. Knuckles smartly tells his team to be completely still and quiet as they are first teleported there. He does this so the 2 Xenomorphs who instantly begin their hunt will be far ahead of them. Knuckles doesn’t want the Xenomorphs attacking his own team, but he knows that they cannot be controlled, so he just hopes that they do some damage to the other team before the rest of The Valley even has to deal with them. Duke Leto leads his TEAM thru the double doors past the lower level women’s bathroom. Pete & The Tlielaxlu Masters hang back with The Red Duke while he sends the 2 Valkyrie on a scouting mission up the stairs. The 2 women soldiers have a bad feeling as they walk up the all to quiet stairs, but The Duke is more than confident in their fighting and scouting abilities. But as if they came out of nowhere the 2 Aliens fall on top of the 2 Valkyrie and rip the women to shreds. The 2 Futars see this and rush into action to help their fallen TEAMmates. The 2 Futars use their muscular arms and jaws to rip Xenomorph #92 apart, the only problem is that once they do this the acid blood from the alien sprays all over the 2 genetically engineered creatures and kills them both. Duke Leto sees what has happened and realizes that these creatures cannot be killed with a melee attack as he takes at the remaining Xenomorph’s head with his Maula pistol. Pete follows suit and does the same with his Taurus .45. Duke Leto is beside himself as he realizes that although this threat is done, there must be more to his opponents team and that he has just lost his best soldiers. Knuckles runs back quickly after witnessing some of this fight, but is quick enough to go unnoticed by TEAM. He then orders a full out attack on Leto’s team, who is just getting to the top of the first set of stairs. The 2 Giant Hammer Bros. jump down causing the floor to shake, which knocks Pete off of his one good leg. Although Pete does manage to get up in time to jump on Goomba #4 and kill him with a foot crutch combo stomp. Although Pete doesn’t have time to enjoy his 100 points; because he, along with Tlielaxlu Master #3 are both struck by enormous hammers, from the Giant Hammer Bros. The Moritani Soldiers take pleasure in gunning down the last Tlielaxlu Master, but Duke Leto jumps into action. He pulls out his dagger and moves with amazing speed and agility. The Red Duke then jumps into the air to slice the throat of Giant Hammer Bros. #2 and then breaks the neck of Moritani Soldier #2 with a powerful kick to the head. But this last stand is no more than that as he then falls victim to a vicious spin attack from Knuckles while his strike force provides him with cover.

The Money Bags Vs. TEAM (Team 3)

The Money Bags are Scrooge Mcduck, Storm Trooper #16-21, & Dozer #3.
TEAM is Depa Billaba, Futar #5 & 6, Valkyrie #10 & 11, Tlielaxlu Master #5 & 6, & Animal.
　
Depa Billaba’s team begins in the front entrance to the hall, but the Jedi Master instantly begins leading them down the stairs, past the kitchen, thru the gathering area, thru the coatroom door and up the stairs (Depa Billaba goes to the hall the same way as old school Alyssa: No screwing around). Depa Billaba slows down the march of her TEAM as they begin to ascend up the stairs which is where they meet their attackers. Scrooge Mcduck gives the signal, and the Storm Troopers begin firing. As instructed, Master Billaba’s TEAMmembers stay behind her as she deflects the blaster bolts, but one gets thru and kills Tlielaxlu #5. Return blaster fire from Depa’s light saber kills Troopers #16 & 18, while Animal, The Futars and The Valkyries break rank and climb up the stairwell walls, over the plants, and knocking over the picture of Msg. Hunt. Once they reach the top, The Futars and Valkyries make short work of the remaining troopers while Animal grabs Dozer #3 and eats him. Scrooge who knows that danger is out to find him, makes a last ditch effort to attack the strangers who are out to find him. He jumps down from the top of the stairway and drives his cane hard down onto the bald grayish head of Tlielaxlu Master #6 to kill him. Depa Billaba does her best to control the anger that is going thru her after letting this oversized duck break thru their defenses and runs him thru with her light saber.

Brock Sampson’s Fighting Murderflies are Shatterstar, Marine #9-12, & Ewok #9-11.
Pop-Superstar Hannah Montana & President Barack Obama’s “Best of Both Worlds” Touring Battalion of Commandos is Buffy Summers, Jedi Master #21 & 22, Metroid #1 & 2, Gungan #1 & 2, & The Map.
　
Buffy’s squad is maxin and relaxin on the chairs in the upstairs women’s bathroom about to put together a plan when Shatterstar and his strike force are already running up the stairs to attack. They get to the top of the stairs and are spotted by Buffy which causes her to send her team into action. The Metroids are the first to move toward the Murderflies, but Shatterstar has done his research and tells his team to stick to the plan. Marine #9 and ewoks # 10 & 11 begin running away down the hall toward the members bar, and the metroids follow them. The remaining Marines and ewok begin to do battle with Buffy’s team, while Buffy and Shatterstar break into one kicka** fight. Gungan #2 takes a hollow point to the head but the Jedis and Gungan #1 (mostly the Jedis) make quick work of the 3 marines. Ewok #9 grabs The Map and takes a bite, and the taste reminds him of that bland crap that that Princess Leia broad gave them out of her hat or whatever during that whole Empire fiasco that happened in between mating season and yuzzem hunting season. He then got a lightsaber to the head by Jedi Master #21. Metroid #1 & 2 catch up to the 2 ewoks and begin to swallow up their energy while still chasing the last remaining Marine. Marine #9 busts out of the doors and into the cold Detroit December air. It is so bitterly cold out, that no freeze gun is needed to freeze these Metroids solid. Marine #9 then follows the plan and pulls out his stash of grenades. He throws 5 at each of the Metroids while he says “sorry ewok-buddies but I don’t think you’re getting out of this one”. The Metroids die. While this is going on Buffy and Shatterstar are still engaged in a ferocious fight. Both fighters are gaining much respect for their opponent’s abilities but once Buffy is joined by her 2 Jedi soldiers the fight becomes unbalanced and Buffy is able to kick Shatterstar’s smaller saber-like sword out of his left hand and she then uses it to run him thru. As Shatterstar lay on the ground dying Buffy picks up the Kabar from the waste of the dead Marine #12 and stands at the ready. Marine #9 then runs in the door from the cold outside ready to report back to Shatterstar but is instead met by a knife thrown into his neck by Buffy.
