Much like last year, we will be doing a segment called "What's Going on in the Locker Room". This will be helpful to both the existing teams as well as the expansion teams. This is where the expansion teams can learn who is and who is not protected for the expansion draft. The 18 existing teams will have the oportunity to protect 70 characters, your list of 70 is due by November 1st so this segment can begin. Any early entries will be appreciated. I will get you my list of 70 shortly.
Just to let you all know, your coaches do not count in your list of 70, but can also not be taken in the expansion draft. This includes your head coach, 2 assistant coaches, Practice squad head coach, & 2 practice squad assistants. If any of these spots are vacant, this is also a way to hold on to 6 more characters (HINT: you could always change this around before the season starts).
Also, if you are unsure of who currently occupies these coaching spots on your roster; then just contact me and I will let you know.
