S17 W3: Underhills vs Cowboy Killers

 The Underhills are:  Norma Cenva, Ghanima Atreides, Tamerlane, The Eternals:(Gilgamesh,Druig,Ikaris,Kingo,Sprite,Phastos,Makkari,Ajak,Thena), Darth Talon, Beachcomber, Predacons: (Razorclaw,Divebomb,Rampage,Headstrong,Tantrum), Broadside, Mary Embery, Ellen Ripley

The Cowboy Killers are: Ajax, Beowulf, Hecate, 10 sandworms, Hungarian Horntail, Chinese Fireball, Swedish Short Snout, Ghost Rider (Danny Ketch), Surtur, Master Mold, T-X, Splinter w/ Double Blue Lightsaber, Bob Sagat, 3 Swordmaster of Ginaz

The desert trembled as both sides closed in on each other and the battle started. Hecate twisted the battlefield with illusions and warped space, yet Sprite pushed back just enough to create pockets of clarity, allowing Makkari to blitz across the dunes and disrupt Master Mold before his Sentinel production could fully stabilize. Kingo and Ajak joined the fight as well and the chaos had sent the sandworms into a rage. As they all battled, the ground below them began to open and 4 of the sandworms began their feast. As they rose up to strike, Master Mold was able to summon one last strike and all were blasted out of existence by a coordinated barrage. 

Overhead, Ikaris carved through the sky with beams of cosmic energy, managing to mortally wound the Swedish Short-Snout before being entangled by the flaming chain of Ghost Rider, the two crashing down in a brutal collision defeated Ikaris but left Ghost Rider temporarily incapacitated. On the ground, Phastos deployed complex constructs that briefly restrained several Sandworms, but the T-X adapted quickly, corrupting his own systems and turning his weapons against him, eliminating him in a sudden reversal. Nearby, Druig attempted to seize control of weaker minds and even managed to momentarily disrupt Beowulf, but Hecate intervened directly, overwhelming Druig’s mind and removing him from the fight entirely.

The Predacons charged as a unified force, tearing into two of the sandworms, but their momentum broke when Splinter entered and combining his ninja skills and his precise lightsaber strikes, dismantled Razorclaw and Tantrum in quick succession, though Headstrong managed to land a devastating blow that forced Splinter back before being finished by a follow-up strike that killed both in the process. In the chaos, Darth Talon cut through one of the sandwormns and even dueled one of the Swordmasters of Ginaz, killing him after a fierce exchange, but the remaining two adapted quickly and ultimately brought her down through coordinated precision. Ellen Ripley held her ground against advancing threats and managed to destroy the T-X with a well-placed explosive shot after it had been damaged, but she was soon overwhelmed by Ajax in close combat. Meanwhile, Ghanima Atreides used her prescient awareness to guide allies and avoid several lethal strikes, but even she could not evade the unpredictable timing of the sandworms forever, eventually being caught and pulled beneath the surface.

At the center, the battle between Gilgamesh, Thena, and Surtur became the defining clash, with the two Eternals pushing the fire giant harder than before, Thena carving through his defenses while Gilgamesh struck with overwhelming force. Surtur’s flames surged beyond control, consuming both in a final, catastrophic eruption that left him wounded until he was crushed from Broadside who also managed to bring down the Chinese Fireball in a fiery heap. Broadside’s victory was short-lived as he was immediately torn apart by the Hungarian Horntail. Ajak briefly turned the tide by healing several allies, but she became a priority target and was eliminated before she could sustain the effort. Beachcomber was lost in the chaos to the sandworms, and Norma Cenva was ultimately caught in the crossfire of collapsing constructs and dragonfire, unable to withstand the scale of destruction.

During the entire battle, on a dune in the far distance, the comedy of Bob Sagat echoed across the endless sands of Arrakis. The remaining predacons decided to team up and end the jokes but the Ghost Rider, still wounded from his earlier scrap with Ikaris, jumped his bike off the dunes in an attempt to protect everyone’s favorite 1980’s tv dad. As they collide in the air, Bob is crushed and the fight is short as a sandworm emerges to swallow all of them up. That sandworm eventually dies of indigestion.

Tamerlane and Mary Embery attempted to run away but were hunted down by Beowulf. He picks them both up by the head and shakes them violently until their bodies detach. He raises their skulls in victory.
